Is it too hard for a beginner?

No. The low levels are light enough for a first workout. Start where 20 clean reps feel hard but doable, and move up a level only when they stop feeling hard.

I tried a twister before and it did nothing

Most cheap twisters are spring bars with one setting, so your muscles get used to them in days. This one is hydraulic with 20 levels, so when a level gets easy you turn the dial and it’s hard again.

Can it get rid of chest fat?

Nothing spot reduces fat. This builds the muscle underneath across your lower, middle and upper chest. Pair it with sensible eating and that muscle is what shows.

Shipping and returns

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 days, then delivery takes 5 to 10 days.

Not for you? You have 90 days to send it back.

Our 90-day refund guarantee

Train with it for up to 90 days. If it isn’t for you, or something isn’t right with it, send it back for a refund.

Why pushups stop working

Pushups every night. Shirt still stays on at the pool.

We all know you can’t spot reduce chest fat. And anyone who trains knows muscle only grows when it’s pushed harder than last time.

Pushups give you one weight to push: you. Once 20 in a row feel easy, your chest has nothing new to adapt to, so the routine you grind through every night quietly stops doing much.

So the list grows. Sit-ups to failure, morning cardio, five minute chest videos, an undershirt to hide it, maybe a cheap spring bar that’s too easy by the end of the week. Same mirror.

The fix isn’t more reps. It’s more resistance, every time the last level gets easy.

Lower, middle and upper chest in under 30 seconds. Sound on.

Three moves, one dial

No gym terms. This is the whole idea.

  1. 1

    Pick your level

Twist the dial on the cylinder. Start where 20 clean reps feel hard but doable. The low levels are built for beginners.

  2. 2

    Press at three angles

Low at your waist for the lower chest, straight out at chest height for the middle, overhead for the upper. Then curls and tricep presses on the same handles.

  3. 3

Turn it up when it gets easy

When 20 reps stop feeling hard, click up a level. It works like adding a plate to the bar, without buying plates or a bar.

The 15 minute routine

Low press, lower chest
5 min
Chest height press, middle chest
5 min
Overhead press, upper chest
5 min

Add curls and tricep presses when you have time. Go up a level whenever 20 reps feel easy.

The dial and the level bands up close.

Guys who stopped waiting on pushups

I was doing 50 pushups a night for months and nothing looked different. Level 8 humbled me on the first set.

Marcus R.

Bought a spring twister last year and it was too easy after a few days. This one I’m still turning up.

Devin K.

Small apartment, no room for a bench. It lives under my bed and I get through the routine while something plays on TV.

Jordan T.

I was worried it would be too much since I’m new to lifting. The low levels are easy to start on and I’ve moved up twice.

Chris L.

Your whole chest from one spot

Three press angles work your lower, middle and upper chest in one session, in the corner of your room. No bench to set up, no moving between machines.

22 lbs 440 lbs One dial, twenty levels

Starts where you are, ends at 440 lbs

Twenty levels from 22 lbs up. Twist the dial between sets. Beginners get clean reps on day one, and the top levels are hard enough that the guys in our videos can barely move them.

  • Low pressLower chest
  • Chest pressMiddle chest
  • Overhead pressUpper chest
  • CurlBiceps
  • Tricep pressTriceps
  • Back squeezeUpper back

Arms and back ride along

The same handles take you through curls, tricep presses and back work, so one tool covers your whole upper body. Fold it shut and it slides under the bed.

Why this one, not a spring bar

  • Resistance that keeps up

Spring bars have one setting your muscles get used to fast. Twenty hydraulic levels mean there’s always a harder one waiting.

  • Smooth from start to finish

A sealed hydraulic cylinder gives even tension through the whole press, instead of the jerky snap a spring gives you.

  • The same path every rep

The arms open and close on a fixed path, so every rep trains the angle you chose and not a wobble.

  • Grips in your hands, not your forearms

Rubber-coated handles sit at the ends of the arms, so nothing digs into your forearms mid-set.

  • 90 days to be sure

If it isn’t for you, or something isn’t right with it, you have 90 days to send it back.

A spring bar and the hydraulic trainer, side by side.

Questions guys ask before buying

I bought a twister before and it did nothing. Why is this different?

Most cheap twisters are spring bars with one fixed setting, so they feel hard for a week and then your muscles get used to them. This one is hydraulic with 20 levels from 22 lbs to 440 lbs, so when a level gets easy you turn the dial and it’s hard again. That rising resistance is what keeps a chest growing.

I’m a beginner. Will it be too hard?

No. The low levels are light enough for your first workout. Start where 20 clean reps feel hard but doable, and move up only when they stop feeling hard. The top levels are for later.

Can this get rid of chest fat?

Honest answer: nothing spot reduces fat, and we won’t pretend it does. What this does is build the muscle under it across your lower, middle and upper chest. Pair it with sensible eating and the muscle is what shows as the fat comes down.

Will it actually hold up?

The resistance comes from a sealed hydraulic cylinder on a steel frame. Like any bolted trainer, check the bolts are snug every few weeks. And if anything isn’t right within 90 days, send it back.

Does it hurt your forearms or wrists?

The grips sit at the ends of the arms, so nothing presses on your forearms. Start on a low level, keep your wrists straight, and stop if anything feels wrong. If you have an existing joint or tendon issue, check with a professional before starting any new resistance training.

Does it have a rep counter?

This model doesn’t. Count your reps or set a 5 minute timer per angle, like the routine above.

Can’t I get something like this cheaper on Amazon?

Hydraulic twisters are sold in a lot of places. Ours comes with 20 levels from 22 lbs to 440 lbs, the three-angle routine, and a 90-day refund window, so you can try it properly before deciding.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 days, then delivery takes 5 to 10 days.

What if it’s not for me?

You have 90 days to send it back for a refund.

Said on camera by the guys in our videos

ā€œThere’s always gonna be a challenge for you.ā€On the 20 levels
ā€œThe 20 is extremely hard.ā€On the top level
ā€œMy chest used to be the weakest point in my physique. Not anymore.ā€On his own results
ā€œI can barely even do one rep on the max setting.ā€On the top level
ā€œPersonally I like to stick between level eight and level 12.ā€On where he trains
ā€œDamn, I’ve been neglecting that.ā€On the overhead press
ā€œDo 20 of these every day for the lower chest.ā€On the routine
ā€œNormally I would expect workout equipment like this to cost hundreds of dollars.ā€On the price
