They can't come off, because they were never put on. Dorsal fin, both pectorals and the tail are pressed from the same block of foam as the sole — no glue joint, no stitching, no seam. The usual failure points on a novelty slide don't exist here.
This is the one that matters. The base carries a full cross-cut tread that channels water out to the sides rather than trapping a film underneath, and the footbed is textured so your foot doesn't slide forward inside the slide either.

No. The jaw is an open arch that sits above the foot, not against it. The moulded teeth face inward along the mouth line and never touch skin — your foot only contacts the smooth footbed.

Not the way cheap foam does. Closed-cell rebound foam has sealed cells, so it compresses and springs back instead of collapsing and staying collapsed. That's also why it doesn't drink water.
Expect a slight footprint impression in the first week. That's the foam learning your foot, not wearing out.
There can be a faint moulded-foam scent for a day or two — normal for fresh EVA, and we'd rather tell you than let you discover it. Leave them out somewhere airy overnight and it's gone. Cleaning is a rinse under the tap and a wipe; skip the dishwasher and hot radiators.
